Karin Baer’s career spans over three decades, with a focus on Quality in the pharmaceutical industry.

She has held various senior quality positions and has been instrumental in leading teams to achieve quality standards. She worked for many years at Teva Pharmaceuticals and worked at Boehringer Ingelheim, Germany as Head of Quality Assurance. For the last 5 years she has been working as VP Quality and Regulatory at NeuroDerm, a Tanabe Pharma company. She has deep experience and understanding of aseptic manufacturing and the associated regulatory requirements.

Karin holds a degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. She is co-author of several documents published by PDA, served on their prestigious Regulatory Affairs and Quality Advisory Board (RAQAB) and often comments on new guidance documents.

Karin is co-founder and currently serves as President of the very active PDA Israel Chapter.
