Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (excellence Scholarship), Bachelor of Science in Biology (graduation in excellence) and Master of Business Administration from Bar Ilan University.

In 2016, he transitioned via the Johnson & Johnson Group becoming RA Lead of Johnson Medical Division. As part of his role, he manages the company’s regulatory team and is the contact person with the Ministry of Health regarding registration and safety of use of the company’s products.

From 2014 to 2016, he managed the Global Pharmacovigilance Department of Omrix Pharmaceutical Industries, a Johnson & Johnson company, an innovative pharmaceutical manufacturer, and also served as their QPPV.
From 2007 to 2013, he served as Merck’s Responsible Pharmacist, Qualified Person, QPPV, and Medical Information Officer.
Tamir has extensive experience in the field of pharmacovigilance, pharmaceutics and quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. He is experienced in establishing and managing pharmacovigilance systems and quality systems, has experience in conducting regulatory authority reviews as well as communicating with health ministry officials in product safety relationships.
Prior to his industry career, he served as responsible pharmacist at Super Pharm and New Pharm chain drug stores.
At this period he also served as a professional trainer for pharmacists, responsible pharmacists, interns and supplement consultants at Super Pharm.
