Dr. Abramov has M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and she is a PhD student in the field of applied chemistry in the Casali institute in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Abramov has 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience in different positions: analyst in quality control, stability team researcher, analytical researcher, formulator and project manager at pharmaceutical companies.

Her research focuses on development of the novel drug delivery systems for dermal and transdermal applications.

During her academic and industry experience, Dr. Abramov has developed several products including dosage forms for controlled release, transdermal and local drug delivery systems.
Her publications include a patent in the field of medical device, system and method for pericardial access; a patent in development of accordion pill for an improved treatment of Parkinson’s disease symptoms; articles in the theme of polymeric nanomicelles as a platform for oral delivery of poorly soluble drugs; liquid nanodomains incorporation into polymeric films and articles in the field of analytical and colloidal chemistry.
