Dr. Weisman is a protein biochemist and enzymologist with extensive expertise in the purification and characterization of proteins (including therapeutic proteins), the development of analytical tests for proteins, and the development of enzymes and enzyme based processes for commercial applications.  He has worked in the Israeli biotechnology industry for more than 25 years in both production and R&D. Dr. Weisman is CEO of Archaezyme Ltd. which he founded in 1996 as a contract enzyme development and biochemical services company.  In 2013 Archaezyme closed its lab facilities and now functions as a biotech consulting firm guiding young companies in the development of their protein products (biopharmaceutical, enzymes, etc.) and providing writing and editing services (for both scientific articles and regulatory documentation).
