Yehoshua Aloni, Ph.D has over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industries (Cetus Corporation in USA, InterPharm Serono and Teva Pharmaceuticals in Israel as a Director of the Process development Department in Teva Pharmaceuticals). His expertise spans research, development, validation, plant design and GMP manufacture of biopharmaceutical products (both from bacteria and mammalian cell cultures), such as interferons, interleukins and monoclonal antibody products for parenteral use. He published scientific articles in microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology and engineering including submission of 8 patents of various inventions in these fields.
Dr. Aloni is a graduate of the Hebrew University where he earned his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and a diploma in Business Managements & Administration granted by the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Dr. Aloni served for 6 years as an active member in the Chief Scientist Appeals Committee at the Israel Ministry of Industry and Commerce. Currently Dr. Aloni is a Consultant in Biotechnology and Biopharma, and he as well is teaching biotechnology classes in Ben-Gurion University, Hebrew University and in Shenkar College.
