Dorit is a B.A. graduate in Psychology and General Studies and an M.D. graduate of the Tel Aviv University in Israel. She has more than 20 years of experience in writing, editing and translating professional material.

Dorit has established and managed the Israeli Medical Knowledge Center of Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS – a leading international pharmaceutical company), a unit of the Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trials departments, and was responsible for distributing medical information, informed consent forms and clinical protocols, marketing brochures, medical based answers and safety information. This position required extensive involvement with various departments: marketing, regulatory affairs and clinical trials, as well as daily communication with the company’s
management in the USA.

Prior to her joining Bioforum she served in the management of Maccabi Health Services, as a member of a team designed to set strategic plans for improvement of quality of health care, and as such, was responsible for writing, editing and translating professional material in different formats.

In the past 8 years Dorit has served as Head of the BioForum’s Medical Department (including 2 years as Medical Director of BQT, as well). She has created a special team of translators and editors (all languages) who she personally teaches – in groups and in person. She also lectures in various courses (CRA, GCP) and professional meetings and writes articles about proper writing of clinical trial documents.
