The goals of PAT are: to extend process understanding as well as to monitor the production process in a new and better way and in line with quality concepts.
The course will concentrate on the way the organization should tailor its analytical approach in order to apply it to process measurement and control in a regulated environment.
It will answer the question why taking the PAT initiative and how NIR and other spectroscopic methods fit into the new paradigm for controlling manufacturing processes

Dr. Howard Mark

Dr. Mark Howard is president of Mark Electronics, a consulting company that specializes in Near-Infrared analysis, Chemometric and Statistical data analysis, and development of custom hardware and software for those disciplines. Howard has the Ph.D. degree from New York University.
